Latest All-Programs Express Entry Draw Out On 14th September

This is the sixth draw of its kind and the minimum CRS score continues to decline further.
September 14th marked the latest Express Entry draw, where the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 3250 ITAs. The sixth all-program made a comeback on the 6th of July 2022.
The latest Express Entry draw had the minimum 511 Comprehensive Ranking System score cut-off. As there were particular programs under this draw, the invitations were issued to the applicants from the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP). Each draws up until the last one on August 31 saw an increase of 250 candidates earning ITAs. The 500 ITAs increased significantly last week, and today’s draw represents a continuation of that pattern.
The lowest CRS score has likewise been lower than ever, losing between eight and nine points with each upcoming draw. This draw, though, is distinct because the loss was only five points. For the draw on July 6, the lowest CRS score was 557.
From the early December of 2020, the IRCC suspended all the Express Entry draws. And it lasted for more than 18 months. The candidates who had qualified for the PR through the CEC or the PNPS were only asked to apply.
On schedule, Canada will get roughly 432,000 immigrants.
According to Sean Fraser, the minister of immigration, Canada will surpass its current annual record of 405 330 new immigrants by the end of 2022. By the end of June, Canada had already accepted more than 300,000 new citizens as permanent residents.
Canada has accepted 40,785 immigrants using Express Entry so far this year. If immigration increases at the current rate, Canada may even surpass the objective of approximately 432,000 immigrants set forth in the Immigration Levels Plan for 2022.
The IRCC has taken steps to accommodate these numbers, such as implementing the process of applying entirely digital and adding an additional 1,250 new employees.
As it seeks to deal with a record low rate of unemployment in addition to over one million job openings, Canada keeps pushing for increased immigration.

Canada cannot sustain the labor force or economy without immigrants because of the rising retirement age and low birth rate during the coming ten years.
Changes in 2023
In 2023, the IRCC intends to make significant changes to Express Entry in order to better target labor market gaps. The government would now have the power to grant ITAs to those with particular work experience, educational background, or language proficiency.
Any applicant from the categories that they feel will be best able to help Canada’s economy and job supply could be considered.
This could have an effect on the usefulness of CRS scores in some situations, and they might lose some of their significance in some upcoming draws.
On stage at the technology conference Collision in June, Immigration Minister Sean Fraser provided justification for this idea by saying, “If we can forecast talents that are required over the coming 20 to 30 years, we can introduce individuals who can start off running and have a huge economic effect.”
