There are different requirements for each of the programs. To apply under the Express Entry program as a skilled worker, a candidate must:

- A minimum of CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark) seven in either English or French

It is recommended to file the EOI as soon as the IELTS results are in hand. In case any decision is not made within the two years, the petition will not be considered a part of the EOI bank.
The ACS skills also expire after two years and in case you want to re-file, you will have to re-do the evaluation and submit a fresh EOI.
There are two types of occupations lists.
One is the CSOL (Consolidated Sponsored Occupation List) with Schedule 1 and 2 and the other is the Skilled Occupations List (SOL).
For independent skilled migration, the professions given in SOL 1 can be followed and the Schedule 2 professions can be followed for State-Sponsored and Regional Schemes.

Generally, an individual must have a petition approved by the USCIS (US Citizenship and Immigration Services) for immigrating to the US. General Processing Times

- Visit the OFC location on the day of your OFC appointment to get your biometric details like photographs and fingerprints collected
- Report minimum 15 minutes earlier of the scheduled time for an appointment at the US Consulate or Embassy where your Visa interview appointment is scheduled
- If you are offered the US Visa, your passport will be returned through courier to the Visa/Passport collection location that you have specified while taking an appointment. It can be delivered later at any time prior to the interview day.

The physical card’s identification “CR1” stands for “conditional resident,” and a conditional green card is only good for two years. A conditional green card holder must file Form I-751 to “remove the conditions” and get a permanent green card.
