The draw results provide a glimpse into the ongoing efforts to bolster the province’s workforce and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Under the Skills Immigration category, a total of 183 invitations were issued to candidates in various streams. The draw, which primarily targeted skilled workers and international graduates, demonstrated British Columbia’s commitment to attracting talent that aligns with the province’s labor market needs.
A total of 133 invitations were extended in this category. Candidates who received invitations had a minimum score of 88 on the BC PNP points assessment. This stream is ideal for individuals with job offers in British Columbia and is an attractive option for those who have completed their studies in the province.
In recognition of the crucial role played by early childhood educators and assistants, British Columbia invited 36 candidates from this occupation category. The minimum score required for these invitations was 60, demonstrating the province’s commitment to addressing the demand for skilled professionals in this field.
British Columbia’s Entrepreneur Immigration program also saw activity in this draw, with invitations issued to entrepreneurs seeking to establish or expand their businesses in the province. This program is designed to stimulate economic development and innovation by attracting entrepreneurial talent.
Regional Pilot: A limited number of invitations, less than five, were extended to candidates in the Regional Pilot stream. To receive an invitation, candidates needed to have a minimum score of 126. The BC PNP remains committed to conducting regular draws to invite individuals who can help build a vibrant and thriving British Columbia.
Prospective candidates who received invitations in this draw will now have the opportunity to submit their complete application to the BC PNP and, if successful, embark on a journey toward obtaining Canadian permanent residency.
