British Columbia Holds Third PNP Draw of November, Inviting 28 Skilled Immigration Candidates

British Columbia’s latest draw continued to prioritize occupations in high demand within the province, with candidates across a range of professional streams receiving invitations to apply for provincial nomination. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores varied by occupation type, ranging from 80 to 143 points.

Notable CRS Cutoffs
The CRS cutoff scores required for an invitation differed among streams to target occupational shortages within British Columbia. The general stream saw the highest CRS cutoff of 143, applicable to Skilled Workers, Skilled Workers with the Express Entry BC (EEBC) option, International Graduates, and International Graduates with the EEBC option. Other categories, such as Entry-Level and semi-skilled, had a slightly lower CRS requirement at 121, while Veterinary Care applicants only needed a CRS of 80.
These strategic CRS cutoffs help ensure that the province attracts and retains professionals in key areas like childcare, construction, and healthcare, as well as specialized fields like veterinary care.
Previous PNP Draws in November 2024
Before the November 13 draw, British Columbia conducted two other PNP draws earlier in the month. These initial draws focused on high-demand sectors and prioritized skilled candidates with specific work experience or professional qualifications aligned with the province’s labor market needs.
November 6, 2024: This draw issued 40 ITAs to candidates in the Tech and Healthcare categories, with a CRS cutoff ranging from 110 to 145.
November 1, 2024: In the first draw of the month, a total of 32 ITAs were distributed among Skilled Workers and International Graduates across general and entry-level streams, with CRS scores ranging between 105 and 135.
