This development follows closely on the heels of the October 10th draw, where 3,725 candidates were extended Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in an all-program draw, requiring a minimum CRS score of 500.
Express Entry history in 2023
In a noteworthy update that came into effect on October 1st, Express Entry candidates no longer face the mandatory requirement of undergoing an upfront immigrant medical examination (IME) before submitting their permanent resident application to the IRCC. While the medical exam remains a crucial element, candidates are now allowed to submit a blank document in the upload field of the Express Entry profile builder.
IRCC will provide detailed instructions regarding the medical examination process at a later stage. Importantly, candidates who have previously completed an IME as part of another IRCC application or those already residing in Canada are exempt from undergoing a second IME.
