    Express Entry Draw

Canada continues its streak of Express Entry draws for the fourth consecutive day this week, showcasing its commitment to efficient immigration processes. In a historic move, IRCC conducted its first-ever French category-based draw, inviting 2,300 candidates with exceptional French-speaking abilities, on 7th July 2023. The minimum CRS score required was 439, marking the lowest CRS score of 2023.

    Details of the draw:

If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
With this sixth round of invitations in just two weeks, the total number of candidates invited through Express Entry has reached an impressive 9,800. The majority of invitations were issued this week, with the latest round on July 6 targeting 1,500 healthcare professionals. This draw was anticipated after the previous invitation of 500 healthcare professionals on June 27.
On July 5, a significant milestone was achieved as the first-ever draw specifically for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professionals took place. A total of 500 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 486 were invited, reflecting Canada’s commitment to attracting talent in these fields.
In an unexpected move, the July 4 draw included 700 candidates from all programs, setting a high CRS requirement of 511, the highest for an all-program draw in 2023. Notably, the category-based selection criteria for French-speaking abilities prioritize the promotion of the French language outside of Quebec.
Canada aims to support economic growth and strengthen Francophone communities through this initiative, recognizing the enriching contributions of French-speaking newcomers.
The Express Entry system demonstrates Canada’s dedication to diverse immigration, fostering economic prosperity and cultural development across the nation.
