Last Draw of 2022 - Manitoba Invites 280 Candidates
On December 30, 2022, Manitoba held a fresh Expression of Interest (EOI) draw and distributed 280 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to applicants for the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
Candidates from three MPNP streams received LAAs as a result of EOI draw #163 held on December 30th:
Manitoba has 202 LAAs for skilled workers with a minimum score of 750.
38 LAAs make up the international education stream.
40 LAAs for "Skilled Worker Overseas" must have a minimum score of 771.
21 of the 280 Letters of Advice distributed in the most recent Manitoba draw went to applicants who could prove they had a legitimate Express Entry ID and Job Seeker validation code.
The following are the main conclusions from the EOI drawn on December 30:
Candidates for the Skilled Worker Overseas stream of the Expression of Interest (EOI) process were only taken into consideration if they had received a direct invitation from the provincial government of Manitoba as part of a Strategic Recruitment initiative or if they had an IRCC Express Entry ID and Job Seeker validation code.
Candidates were only qualified to obtain a nomination under the MPNP if their Express Entry profile was active at the time of application assessment.
Candidates who have achieved the minimum score criteria but have not yet received an LAA may not have submitted a valid "Exam Number" or indicated that they had taken an authorized language proficiency test in English or French.
They claimed to have received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a Strategic Initiative, but they failed to supply a legitimate "Invitation Number."
Additionally, the applicants invited to the draw were employed in a regulated, in-demand occupation in Manitoba and held a valid work permit for the territory.
With specific exclusions, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) sends ITAs to qualified candidates every month. The requirements of the MPNP application inventory determine the frequency, size, and timing of the Manitoba PNP next draw projection.
