    Latest Express Entry Draw

March 1st, 2023 marked the first Express Entry draw of March and the 6th Express Entry draw of the Year. A total of 667 eligible applicants received the Invitations to Apply. They were required to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 748, set by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
The PNP-only draw on February 15 was the last PNP-linked Express Entry draw of the year, which also was the fourth program-specific draw of 2023. The PNP had three of the program-specific draws, while the Federal Skilled Worker Program received one (FSWP).

The most recent all-program draw was about a month ago.

Because of the border closures and restrictions due to the COVID-19 epidemic, all-program Express Entry lotteries were halted for 18 months, from January 2021 to July 2022. After July, all 2022 draws were all-program.
Only two all-program draws, where the eligible applicants from each of the three Express Entry administered programs received the ITAs depending on their minimum CRS score, were conducted by IRCC since the beginning of 2023. 5,000 candidates were welcomed to each of those draws, which took place on January 11 and January 18, one week apart.
The very next draw, which also was the first PNP-only draw since June 2022, was out after IRCC waited for two weeks. The very next day, IRCC announced a second draw, and only 3,300 applicants from the FSWP received the ITAs. When Express Entry launched in 2015, the IRCC has never conducted an FSWP-only draw before. The FSWP, one of the most well-known Express Entry programs, is accessible to applicants from abroad who meet the requirements for work experience, language proficiency, and educational requirements.
The immigration minister and IRCC have the entire authority over Express Entry draws. The Immigration and Refugee Protection Act has no provisions in regard to the date or time of draws, the number of candidates to be invited, or the minimum CRS cut-off score.

IRCC releases a program application tracker for Express Entry.

Candidates for the Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP), the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) will now be able to track their applications online, according to IRCC’s announcement on February 8. Candidates participating in provincial nominee programs will also be affected.
Clients will be able to follow the status of their application and keep up with any changes about any activities that could be necessary to keep their file moving thanks to these status trackers. According to data as of January 31, there were 66,214 PNP applicants and 47,868 Express Entry applicants waiting in line.
These trackers were introduced by IRCC in an effort to boost openness and information accessibility. For family class permanent residency applicants, sponsors, and their agents, a similar mechanism was implemented last year.
