Manitoba PNP Invited 426 Candidates to Apply for Provincial Nomination

On October 7, 2021, Manitoba PNP invited 426 candidates to apply for provincial nomination. Including this draw, Manitoba has invited 8,691 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination so far in 2021.
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program invited the 426 candidates under the following provincial nominee streams with a minimum EOI score of:
  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba — 350 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 446
  • Skilled Workers Overseas — 21 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 729
  • International Education Stream — 55 invitations with no EOI score requirement.
Out of the following 426 invitations, 86 went to the Express Entry System candidates.

What is Express Entry?

Express Entry Stream is a fast-tracked process that is used to fulfill the job vacancies in the country by inviting skilled international workers to permanently live and work in Canada.
It is also a management system for three federal high-skilled immigration programs:
Candidates in the Express Entry Pool are ranked by their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, based on the factors like age, work experience, education, and language skills among others. International candidates need to prove connections to Manitoba like having any close family ties, previous experience in the province, or an invitation through one of Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives.

However, you need to have a full-time job offer from a provincial employer, in order to receive an invitation under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category, and the international students, studying in Manitoba, can also receive an invitation under the International Education Stream after proving that they have in-demand skills.
