BC PNP Draw Issues ITAs to Tech, Childcare & Healthcare Candidates

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has conducted a recent draw under the Skills Immigration category. In the most recent draw held on August 29, 2023, BC PNP issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to a total of 155 Skilled Workers and International Graduates. Eligible candidates were required to have Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores ranging between 60 and 88 in order to qualify for receiving an ITA.
This event marked the fifth Skills Immigration draw that British Columbia hosted in the month of August. The preceding invitation round, held on August 22, granted ITAs to 230 Skilled Workers and International Graduates, with a minimum score of 60.

BC PNP Latest Draw: August 29, 2023

    Category 1: Tech

Category 2: Childcare: Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202)

    Category 3: Healthcare

Category 4: Other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104)

British Columbia frequently extends ITAs to qualified candidates, typically on a weekly basis, although there can be exceptions. The timing, quantity, and date of the latest BC PNP draw are all determined by the current needs of the BC PNP application pool during the invitation round.
At the core of British Columbia’s economic strength lies the crucial role played by the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). As one of the most coveted pathways for immigrants aspiring to relocate to Canada, the BC PNP significantly contributes to the province’s economic well-being.

Currently, the BC PNP manages two streams:

Candidates within these streams are evaluated and ranked using the BC PNP points calculator, which takes into account factors like age, education, work experience, language proficiency, adaptability, and spousal sponsorship. Those with the highest scores are extended Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residency through the BC PNP.
