    Manitoba PNP Draw

On June 1, 2023, the first Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program draw for the month of June was placed. A total of 589 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) were given to qualified applicants from various MPNP subcategories.

    Details of the draw:

    Skilled Worker in Manitoba

Occupation-specific selection- The draw took into account the candidate profiles that listed their high-demand current vocations in Manitoba.

All occupations – This category took into consideration the job profiles that were not chosen under the selection criteria for specific occupations.

    The following NOCs were considered:

International Education Stream- Under this stream, people whose profiles stated that they met the worldwide educational standards was admitted.

Skilled Worker Overseas- Through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, the MPNP invited the profiles that were publicly revealed.

Out of the total 589 LAAs issued in the recent draw, a total of 214 candidates received the LAAs who had declared a valid Express Entry profile and job seeker’s code.

If your score is greater than that of the lowest-ranked applicant in the pool, but you have not obtained a Letter of Advice to Apply, this could be because:

In this draw, candidates who declared they were employed in a regulated profession and held a valid Manitoba work permit were chosen. However, candidates who are not genuinely employed in a regulated occupation and/or who fail to present proof of having completed all required licensing stages to be employed in Manitoba may have their whole applications rejected by the MPNP. You might want to think about rejecting your letter of advice to apply if this applies to you.
