Those who receive an invitation from Nova Scotia can apply for provincial nomination. Since this stream functions through the Express Entry system, successful nominees receive an extra 600 points towards their CRS score.

5. Prince Edward Island Express Entry

To apply, candidates should review the Workforce Application Guide and create a profile in the Prince Edward Island Expression of Interest system, which remains active for six months. While submitting an Expression of Interest expresses your intent, it is not an application. The profile must remain accurate and current, and certain eligibility requirements, such as legal residency in Canada, apply.
There is no fee to create an Expression of Interest profile. However, if invited to apply, a non-refundable fee of CAD 300 is required with the Workforce Application Form. Employers must complete the PEI Workforce Job Offer Form, and applicants need to fill out relevant provincial forms.
If nominated, candidates must accept the nomination through their MyCIC account and submit a permanent residency application with the necessary documentation and fees.
